Ready to take the next step and dive into a world of patterns? We'll cover everything there is to know about commercial patterns from how to read, translate, cut and sew in this 10 week term.
With 1.5hr weekly lessons we'll start with a basic understanding of the pattern envelope and contents, how to transcribe and understand notions and symbols, working with and preserving your pattern paper, placement and cutting of patterns to fabric, correct stitch settings and stitching of your garment, and those finishing touches for a professional look!
TERM PATTERN: V1926
A semi-fitted lined coat has long two-piece set in sleeves with working vents, shoulder pads, side front pockets, and side back and side front seams. Coat comes in length variations. View A is collarless coat. View B has stand collar and patch pockets.
