Ready to take your sewing skills to the next level? This 10-week course is your gateway to mastering commercial sewing patterns. From decoding the pattern envelope to stitching up a finished garment, you’ll learn everything you need to create with confidence.
In our 1.5-hour weekly lessons, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of sewing patterns, including how to explore the pattern envelope and its contents, decode symbols and notions, master pattern placement and cutting techniques, and perfect your stitching for a professional, polished finish.
This class is all about project-based learning, so each week, you’ll apply your skills as you bring a commercial pattern to life. By the end of the term, you’ll walk away with a professionally finished project and a wealth of knowledge to tackle future creations.
