Kids 8 Week Sewing Term

Duration: 8 Weeks (1.5-hour weekly lessons)

Course Overview:
Introduce your child to the exciting world of fashion and design with our Kids Sewing Term! This 8-week course is perfect for young learners aged 8 and above, whether they’re new to sewing or eager to enhance their skills. Through engaging, hands-on lessons, your child will learn the fundamentals of sewing, from safely operating a sewing machine to creating their very own wearable garment.

Each week, students will build confidence as they master essential techniques like threading a machine, winding bobbins, and hand-stitching. They’ll also explore the creative side of sewing, including understanding patterns, selecting fabrics, using decorative stitches, and finishing their garments with buttons or buttonholes.

Led by experienced instructors in a supportive and fun environment, this course will not only teach practical skills but also inspire creativity and problem-solving. By the end of the term, your child will proudly showcase a completed garment and the confidence to continue sewing!

   Let us take the hassle out of selecting materials! We’ll provide the recommended fabrics and notions required for your child’s project. All you need to bring is their sewing machine and accessories.

2. You Supply Your Fabric and Notions:
   Prefer to choose your own materials? No problem! We’ll provide a detailed list of what’s needed. Fabrics and notions aren’t required for the first lesson—we’ll let you know everything during the first class.
