Pattern Replication Workshop: Recreate Your Favourite Garment!
Have a beloved garment that’s worn out, no longer fits, or isn’t available in stores anymore? In this hands-on 3-hour workshop, you'll learn how to replicate an existing garment by carefully breaking it down into a functional sewing pattern. Whether it’s a vintage dress, a perfect-fit pair of pants, or a simple top, this workshop will give you the skills to recreate it again and again.
This is a fantastic opportunity to preserve your favourite wardrobe pieces, gain confidence in pattern drafting, and expand your sewing skills. No prior pattern-making experience is necessary—just bring your garment and a desire to learn.

This method of pattern replication does not require cutting your original garment. Instead, you’ll learn professional tracing and pattern-making techniques to create an accurate, reusable pattern without damaging the piece.
Whether you want to recreate a sentimental piece, learn pattern-making skills, or simply explore new design possibilities, this workshop will give you the tools and confidence to do so.
Please note: This workshop runs for 3 hours, giving you plenty of time to learn the essentials of pattern replication. While most simple garments can be fully patterned within the session, more complex designs may require additional time to complete. If you need extra guidance, we offer private lessons to help you finish your pattern with confidence. No matter the complexity of your garment, you'll leave with the skills and knowledge to continue the process on your own or with our support.
