We're bringing a whole new level of creativity to Sew Me School with a special collaborative workshop featuring Julie Gibbons!
Have you ever searched endlessly for the perfect fabric, only to wish you could design your own? Well, now you can!
Join us for a fun, hands-on introduction to custom fabric design, where you'll discover how to transform plain fabric into something truly unique using lino cutting and fabric stamping techniques.
We're excited to welcome Julie into the studio to introduce her creative work and guide us through the art of designing and creating our own printing stamps.
Throughout this four-hour workshop, you'll develop your own designs, carve them into reusable lino stamps and bring them to life on fabric. Experiment with colours, patterns, repeat prints and placement to create your very own custom-printed textiles.
Think gorgeous botanical prints, bold geometric patterns, delicate motifs or playful illustrations. Whether you're dreaming of a statement garment, a one-of-a-kind accessory or something special for your home, this workshop is all about creating fabric that reflects your personal style.

What's Included
All materials and equipment are supplied, including fabric, printing inks, lino-cutting materials and tools. Light lunch will also be provided, please get in touch with any dietary requirements.
Just bring yourself, your creativity and perhaps a few ideas for patterns or designs you'd love to see on fabric!

Absolutely beginner-friendly!
No previous experience in lino cutting, fabric printing or sewing is required.
