Workshop Overview

Sew Me School is hitting the road! Join us in Corryong for a special Travelling Open Sew Workshop, bringing personalised sewing guidance, practical skills and plenty of creative inspiration to you.

This two-hour group session is centred around your projects, your ideas and your sewing goals. Bring along a current project, something you've been stuck on, or even a new idea you'd like help getting started with.

Throughout the workshop, you'll work independently on your project while receiving personalised guidance from a qualified dressmaker. Whether you need help understanding a pattern, perfecting your garment construction, tackling a tricky technique, improving fit or simply figuring out what to do next, you'll have expert support available throughout the session.

What You Need to Bring

• Your sewing project, pattern or project idea

• Your sewing machine, including power cord and foot pedal

• Machine accessories such as presser feet and bobbins

• Fabric, thread, notions and any supplies required for your project

• Your usual sewing kit, including scissors, pins, measuring tape and other essentials

Skill Level

A basic understanding of sewing machine use is recommended. As everyone will be working on their own project during this group session, some independence is helpful, with specialist guidance available whenever you need it.
